Hi, I’m Karthi!
I am a proud Registered Early Childhood Educator who began my journey in 2017. My passion for reimagining early childhood education has only grown since. In 2026, I became a Certified Forest and Nature School Practitioner, strengthening my belief that learning extends far beyond the four walls of a classroom. I am passionate about being part of a meaningful shift in early education, where children are encouraged to explore, take healthy risks, connect with nature, and grow through hands-on experiences.
Through Bhoomi FNS, I hope to create a space where curiosity leads, childhood is celebrated, and little minds and bodies are free to thrive.
My Approach
My approach is rooted in the belief that children are capable, curious, and full of potential. While learning extends beyond the four walls of a classroom, early literacy, numeracy, and science remain an important part of our days. From exploring books and recognizing letters and numbers to discovering life cycles and the natural world, these foundations are thoughtfully woven into play and exploration. It's about embracing a different way of learning while nurturing the same essential skills.
Child-Led Learning & Curiosity
I believe children are capable, curious learners who thrive when given the freedom to explore, ask questions, and follow their interests. My role is to nurture their natural curiosity rather than direct every step of their learning.
Nature as a Classroom
I believe meaningful learning extends beyond four walls. Through outdoor exploration, hands-on experiences, and connection with the land, children develop confidence, resilience, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
Relationships, Belonging & Empowerment
I believe every child deserves to feel seen, heard, respected, and valued. By building meaningful relationships and creating an inclusive environment, I encourage children to take healthy risks, develop independence, and grow confidently into who they are.
